It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Hello everyone!

I know for the last couple of months things have been moving slow. I am in control of everything and I have been taking some hard classes

So that means lots of homework and lots of me running around with my head cut off

I am glad to keep accepting (in some cases denying) works to keep the group alive

Sorry life gets in the way, lets hope the new year will bring earlier classes

What is your guys opinions on accepting Explicit Works?

Would you like to only accept them only with the Mature Content Filter on?

For explicit works, they should have a filter. Religious art should NOT have a filter, there is nothing "offensive" about somebody making artwork about their faith.

The mature works should be accepted, as long it's artistic and not explicit
secondly, the whole religious thing, as long is not offending any part (other religions, or atheists) I'm completely ok with that

If everyone wants to be accepted by society, then religious works should not have a filter. I find that a bit demeaning.

for the explicit works mature filter makes sense.

for the religious works, its tricky to say- i mean some religious art works would basically be a symbol like the "om" or the cross, etc.. i think that this category you will have to go more at your discretion..
